Jessie Brown Pre-Kindergarten is a community owned not-for-profit centre catering for children aged 2 (if emotionally ready) to 4 years old. Our grounds were donated by the late James & Jessie Brown on the condition that they will always be used to serve the community and provide quality care and tuition for children.

We’re located on Gloucester Ave, in the beautiful hills district of Belair. The grounds of our kindergarten provide outdoor education and play space as a natural extension of the class room.

We were predominantly hills-focused, but through word-of-mouth we now have families travelling from all over Adelaide so their children can attend our centre.

Our Early Childhood Educators are friendly and approachable. We believe in valuing individual differences and aim to work in partnership with parents to help children develop socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually.

We offer a nurturing, safe environment with a variety of indoor and outdoor activities which are educationally based, stimulating and fun.

We keep our numbers low and our staff to children ratio high so that each individual receives the quality care and attention they need.

The curriculum used at the centre is based on The Early Years Learning Framework V2.0 and its five learning outcomes. A detailed program is always on display for families to read.
